    ECDIS Implementation Needs More Work
    About 60 delegates attended the conference ‘The E-navigation Revolution’ which was held on 11 and 12 November 2014 on board the HQS Wellington in London, UK. Speakers and participants focussed on various developments and aspects of e-navigation, chaired by former National Hydrographer of the UKHO, Nick Lambert. One conclusion was that there’s a lot of work to be done to meet the implementation deadline in 2017 – if that will be met at all – and another was that work needs to be done on data, communications, the interface and interactions between stakeholders.
