Alison has held a variety of senior level positions in both publishing and conferences and has worked for companies such as Thompson Publishing, Informa plc and IBC, including a period in the US where she marketed US Medical Reports. Prior to this Alison worked at Silverplatter Information an IT company, one of the first companies to sell information on CD.
Previously, Alison practised as a Neuroscientist at the University of Sussex in the UK,(studying neurotransmitters in snail brains!). She holds an Honours degree in Biology.

During her career, Lorna has held a number of senior management and sales positions with leading media and conference companies including Haymarket Publishing, Informa plc, Lloyd`s List Events and Henry Stewart Conference Studies. She holds an honours degree in European Business Studies and speaks fluent French.
Lorna has recently swapped her urban lifestyle in London, UK for the great outdoors in British Columbia, Canada, where she has set up Quaynote`s north American office. Caroline has 16 years experience in the events industry. In recent years she has been developing national conferences for the public sector on issues ranging from policing and youth crime to mental health and resettlement of offenders. Prior to this Caroline held a number of business development and sales roles during her 14 year employment at Informa Plc and IBC. Caroline holds a BA Honours degree in The History of Art.

With 40 years in the nautical business and 22 years writing and editing marine content, Peter has a wealth of experience and a comprehensive range of contacts. As well as being connected with all branches of the specialised yachting media, he has regular contact with the various disciplines that drive the yachting industry, from superyacht captains, to engineers, yacht builders, surveyors, designers and sail makers to name but a few!
Qualification as a shipwright / boat-builder and later as a marine coatings inspector, together with an assignment to Lloyds Register of Shipping to help establish a ground breaking corrosion protection scheme, gave Peter a thorough technical background before he launched into the nautical media world. He has also gained an RYA Powerboat Instructors Certificate and holds an RYA/MCA Commercially Endorsed Advanced Powerboat License. In 2002 he received the special honour to be recognised as a Certified Freeman of the River Thames.
