JUST CONFIRMED – there will now be a drinks reception taking place straight after the conference on the balcony of the beautiful Hotel Serras. When you register for the conference you will be automatically invited to attend this event at no extra charge.

Taking place just before the Barcelona Yacht Show

What is the future for Yacht Chartering? Which cruising grounds are growing in popularity and how will regulatory and economic forces affect the success of different charter destinations?

Set against Spain`s exemption from paying Matriculation Tax on yachts, The Future for Yacht Chartering will take place at the stunning OneOcean Port Vell, in Barcelona, Spain. As the demand for luxury yachts available for charter in Spain threatens to outstrip supply, the conference will examine the outlook for chartering in the Balearics, across the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and further afield.

The Future for Yacht Chartering will ask what needs to be done to ensure the best experience for charterers? What do charter parties expect from marinas, catering and crew and how are their expectations being met?

By throwing the spotlight on yacht chartering, marinas and catering, The Future of Yacht Chartering will be an essential forum for marinas operators, charter brokers, superyacht managers, lawyers, regulatory authorities, yacht registries, captains, industry associations and anyone with a vested interest in the growth of this key sector.

OneOcean Port Vell is a world-class home port for superyachts, perfectly positioned in the heart of Barcelona.

Originally built for the 1992 Olympic Games, the marina recently completed its transformation to a 148-berth luxury facility, creating the ultimate destination for yachts up to 190 metres.

No-compromise luxury facilities ensure owners, guests, captains and crew have everything they need to enjoy the best in safety, security, comfort and entertainment while benefiting from all the services a city can offer.

As one of only a handful of genuine city-centre marinas in the world, we also have the best of Barcelona and Catalunya on our doorstep, while the Mediterranean hotspots and islands are only a short cruise away.
